About us

I've always had a poodle in my life, since I was 2 years old. Our 1st poodle was a smaller white standard male named *Campbells Sir Frosted Snow King* call name: Peppi.  I started sicissoring on my mothers poodle at age 9, because I didnt like how Mom cut his hair, so, 59 years later... I still have poodles. (now you know my age)   In1989 I had my handsome son James, & every boy needs a dog, at that time we had a Black Safari standard named: Joker, & included a Judara silver Mini for my son named: Popper. I did obedience with my black standard. Then in 1995 we had our beautiful daughter named Holly.

In 1997 I saw my1st Red standard, and fell totally in love! In 1998 I got my 1st Red from Joan Mistkowski - *Majestic Poodles* Thats when I got the *Show Bug.* And my addiction to Red standards really began. I was a member of 3 Kennel Clubs at that time. I've been a member of the ARPC (Apricot Red Poodle Club) for 17 years. I co-chaired the ARPC fun match held before PCA. I started grooming & showing by myself, looking at pictures to learn how to do show clips & scissor the hair. My 1st UKC show was in 1999 with my Red standard named: Majestic Red Rusti Of Foxfire, Rusti became the United Kennel Clubs very *1st Red* UKC Champion in all varieties*  I did find several Great Mentors along the way, that I am forever grateful for, and are still friends and mentoring me to this day....( I have to add... Handler Carol Millar taught me alot & was always there to help me. Terry Farley & John Dejo were my dear long distance Mentors in the Reds)  Two generations after *Rusti* I produced a beautiful Red litter, which included my Red boy *Belchaks Cayden The Buzz.*  Cayden was the AKC's *top Red* in the Nation the end of 2003 & 2004, Handled by the Great Alan Waterman. In 2004 Cayden at 17 months old, placed 6th in the Open Dog Class at PCA against 17 older more mature dogs.  He was lined up behind the Cruffs winner in that class that year. He was also the 1st Red Standard to aquire two 4-point Majors under one year old, and that held for 9 years. He was before his time.

In 2016 I aquired a beautiful Diverse light Apricot female named: Belchaks Isabella De Greiner from Natalie Green Tessier. I got a               Int.Nat. Championship on her in 2016, with all V1 ratings. She also has Nose Work Degrees. This female is a genetic Outlier, which means she will add DNA diversity to my breeding program, in which the general standard poodle breed needs. Issabelle is now retired.

I chose *Belchak* .for my kennel name back in 1998, in honor of my Mother, Ann Belchak. The red Poodle head you see at the top of page was also included with the Belchak name in1998.

In 2013 I started looking & researching the Beautiful Standard Parti Poodles, talked to most every reputable breeder out there.       Then In 2014 I purchased my1st male Parti poodle for show, with the guidance & expertise of a great friend, Mentor & Breeder: Karen Sisco.  I named him: Siscos Soldier Boy For Belchak,  Call Name: *Soldier.*  Soldier aquired his Int.Nat UKC Championship by 7 months 5 days old, and 3 legs toward his Grand, with a 2nd placement in a tuff Gun Dog Group against older dogs. At 5 months old Soldier got a *Reserve Best Puppy In Show* in a non-licenced class.

Our only Parti female is named: Siscos Stuck On You Belchak. Call name: *Neka* she is a INT.Nat.BA Ch. at 5 months.

One new Addition to our famly, is a very diverse Parti/Tux male named: Opus Special Edition At Sisco BN. Call name: Bentley, Bentley is the Sire of my other male: *Soldier*
